Trail: Three Sisters Falls Trails
Date: February 11,2023
Time: Start the hike at 0930

Brief Description:

Tucked away in a hidden canyon within Cleveland National Forest, the hike to Three Sisters Falls is remote, spectacular, and fun. Boulder Creek cascades down three smooth granite levels, the "three sisters," and leaves fresh pools where you can swim (ok maybe not this trip), dip your feet in, or just enjoy the vibe.  Waterfalls are beautiful and we don’t get them all the time here in San Diego, so let's enjoy it while they are here.  It is a great chance to check out this hike to bring family or kids back to in the coming months.  Right now, water is flowing but it will dry up as the rains end and the weather warms.

What to bring?

Must haves: Sturdy shoes and at least 1L of water you can carry during the hike.  A snack for the trail (we will take a short break a the top)

Optional Items: a Camelbak or small backpack to carry water.  A camera (or your phone).  Trekking poles if you need/want to use them.

I am not sure if there will be ice and/or mud, if you have mini-spikes feel free to bring them just in case.

What NOT to bring?

1. Pets.  Sorry, I love to hike with my dog and although dogs are allowed on this trail, no dogs on the group hike for the comfort of everyone

2. Kids.  Again, love my kiddo but this is your time.  Please no children or spouses, future hikes might be open to children or spouses but this first hike is just for spouses.

These group hikes are a get way to try out some area trails to hike with your family in the future!
